Dime Store has been part of downtown Detroit since 2014, built by the same ownership team and a kitchen that’s stayed true to its approach from day one.
We make our food from scratch, use the best ingredients we can get and don’t cut corners, even when it would be easier.
What sets us apart, though, isn’t just the food. It’s the people. A team that’s been here for years, guests we know by name and a dining room that feels alive from the moment you walk in.

We’re not your average brunch spot.
There are the dishes people come back for, like Duck Bop Hash and the Cheesesteak Benny. And then there are the specials that keep things interesting. Sometimes they stick around. Sometimes they don’t.
Either way, there’s usually something on the menu you weren’t expecting.
Private Events
Planning a birthday dinner, company gathering or something worth celebrating?
We offer full restaurant buyouts on weekdays after 4pm, with a more shareable, dinner-leaning menu, flexible bar options and a team that knows how to take care of people without making things feel overly formal.
Just good food, a comfortable room and a downtown Detroit backdrop that does a lot of the heavy lifting for us.
